FIVE FINGER FLAG. The fun in this DIY is that it can be made however you want! The more you add your own twist to it, the more unique it becomes!

Supplies:

  • Marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Red paint
  • Blue paint
  • Paint brush
  • Red glitter glue
  • Blue glitter glue
  • Silver glitter glue
  • Red construction paper
  • White construction paper

Directions:

  1. Using a marker, trace your hand on the white construction.
  2. After you finish tracing your hand, cut out the hand with a rectangle around it.
  3. Glue the rectangle to the center of the red construction paper.
  4. Once that is done, create a box using a marker in the left top corner of the hand. This will create the blue part of the flag that has the stars on it.
  5. Then, using a paint brush paint red lines to create the stripes. (Since you traced your hand on white construction paper, there is no need to paint white stripes.
  6. After the red lines are painted, paint the box that you created earlier with blue paint.
  7. Wait a minute or two for the blue paint to semi dry.
  8. Then create stars using the silver glitter on the blue paint.
  9. To finish off your project decorate outside the rectangle to create a design using the glitter glue.
