  • Pork Tenderloin with Carrots and Brown Rice

    Looking for a new meal to cook for your family? Try this delicious pork tenderloin with baby carrots and brown rice! It is super simple and makes a great family meal.
    Pork Tenerloin (2)

    Servings: 4

    Prep Time: 10 min

    Cook Time: 45 min – 1 hour

    Ingredients:

    1 pork tenderloin

    1 half bag of baby carrots

    2 packets of onion soup

    ⅓ cups heavy cream

    1 cup brown rice

    1 ¼ cup water

     

    Directions:

    Preheat the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit

    Place the tenderloin in a large baking pan. Spread the onion soup packet on top and around of the tenderloin. Pour the carrots into the pan around the tenderloin.

    Measure 2 ⅓ cups of heavy cream then mix in an entire packet of onion soup mix. Pour the mixture on top of the carrots and spread around the pan.

    Pour 1 ¼ cup of water into a pot. Place 1 cup brown rice into the pot and cook for 30 minutes or until all of the water has evaporated.

    Place the pan into the oven and cook for 45 minutes. If the onions begin to burn you can place a sheet of tin foil over the top. Check the meat after 45 minutes and cook for an additional 15 minutes if needed.
